100 Stamps in 100 Days – Day 2
Postage Stamp Project
“100 stamps in 100 days” daily happy mail campaign and blog! I will be making an effort to send out at least 100 cards/letters over the next 100 days and blogging it. Encouraging a return to written correspondence!

The whole idea of using Twitter to expand your/my sphere of influence has really intrigued me. I am especially enjoying the micro conversations that can happen over a few tweets. You can really help you get to know a person. So for 2 of todays 3 letters, I chose Twitter friends as recipients.
Bob Burg (@BobBurg), author of The Go Giver, and I have been having some interesting back and forths. He likes Chocolate Coconut Donuts with Coffee from Dunkin Donuts! (@DunkinDonuts Yes they tweet too). Considering that just some years ago, it would have been next to impossible to develop any kind of relationship so quickly with a celebrity who lives on the other side of the country, I am especially grateful to the way Bob relates not only to me, but to everyone.
Barbara Lopez (@brightfarm) of Brightfarm is only 25 miles up the road from me, but we have never met except for on Twitter. She and I were tweeting back and forth about the books we have been reading. She just finished Unmarketing by Scott Stratten (@unmarketing) and just started to read Never Eat Alone by Keith Ferrazi (@keithferrazi)
I was able to get Bob’s and Barbara’s mailing addresses off of their personal websites that they share in their Twitter bios. And I sent cards to add another level of personalized contact to our developing relationship. I’ll keep you posted on any response I get.
My last card is a special one! My oldest baby girl is turning “13″ on Friday, March 18! Oh my! She is a beautiful, mature young lady and I am so proud of my Montserrat. So I wrote out 13 reasons why I love her, although I really cannot count the ways. I am so blessed to be her mom!
Stay tuned: 98 days to go!
