Today I had the honor to be invited to be a guest on a fabulously fun and informative radio show by Tamara Dorris! She is a Realtor® who educates and assists Sacramento residents in the buying and selling of residential real estate. She also does a weekly radio show, every Wednesday at 10:00 am Pacific Time, at www.inlovewithsacto.com. Her show begins with a real estate segment, of course, with the collaboration of her mortgage expert sidekick Sheri Schmitz, the “Loan Ranger.” It is conversational, informative, timely and really fun to listen to. I promise you will be smiling from the moment Tamara takes the mic because she is just so energetic and engaging!
Just last week on her show she featured Marc Klaas, father of Polly Klaas, who was kidnapped from a slumber party in Petaluma, CA in 1993. Marc decided with his wife Violet that together they would make a difference through the formation of KlaasKids Foundation with the purpose to inform parents, children, and communities about how to prevent crimes against children. In light of April being National Child Abuse Prevention Month, Tamara invited a timely guest who is passionate about protecting YOUR kids, MY kids, OUR kids! I encourage you to listen to the podcast of this episode! They talk about updating Megan’s Law (the law requiring sex offenders to notify communities of their location) for the internet age.
