Speaking of Influencers Part 2

Yesterday I wrote of the Sacramento Speakers Network meetup that I attended. I met so many amazing people that I couldn’t do them all justice in one post.

I was drawn to Monica Nainsztein of SpanishOne Translations immediately after hearing her give her 30 second commercial. Well spoken, dynamic and bilingual, I knew that I had to meet her.  We immediately started chatting in Spanish about different ideas. Monica is a specialist in translations. And I don’t just mean translation. That’s too easy. She really gets the idea across that someone is trying to convey and a literal translator like google just won’t do. Trust me, I’ve tried it. You will enjoy reading about some translation bloopers if you visit the “all time faves” page of her website.

 

I also connected to Coach Ruben and his son Aaron Guzman. What a powerful father/son team. Ruben has written a book and his son has helped him format it, illustrate it, and also designed the cover for it. They are motivated and motivating. After sharing a personal story of survival from near death, Ruben reminded me that I am a THRIVER not a survivor. I really liked that terminology!

 

Ruben is an experienced coach for professionals in the area of evolutionary health. He is passionate about helping people
transform their lives. Aaron is a talented photographer, musician, music producer and self-proclaimed computer geek.
